The ATV630U75N4Z is a 7.5 kW normal-duty / 5.5 kW heavy-duty variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV600 range, sized for 380...480 V three-phase supply. Continuous output current is 16.5 A at 4 kHz for normal duty, 12.7 A at 4 kHz for heavy duty. The drive includes an integrated EMC filter rated for IEC 61800-3 category C2 at 10 m cable and category C3 at 50 m cable. Safe torque off (STO) is built in at SIL 3.
The 7.5 kW normal-duty rating matches a standard 10 hp induction motor on a pump or fan curve; the 5.5 kW heavy-duty rating covers constant-torque loads like conveyors or extruders. The 16.5 A continuous output is the figure to compare against motor full-load amps. Output frequency spans 0.1 to 500 Hz, so it handles high-speed spindle applications as well as standard 50/60 Hz motors. The drive accepts 8 discrete inputs, one of which can be configured as a pulse input up to 30 kHz for encoder feedback.

Slot A/B also accept I/O extension and relay output modules. The drive includes an adjustable PID regulator for process control loops.
