The ATV6A0C13N6 is a modular Altivar Process ATV600 drive sized for a 90 kW motor at 500 V normal duty (75 kW heavy duty). Line current draws 129 A normal duty, 110 A heavy duty at 500 V. Integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 for 300 m cable runs — no external filter needed for most industrial installations. Switching frequency adjustable 2 to 4.9 kHz with derating; for the full 90 kW output, stay at the lower end of that range. Safe torque off (STO) is built in to SIL 3, covering both motor and drive thermal protection, phase loss, overcurrent, and DC bus overvoltage. The modular build means slot A and slot B accept communication or I/O extension cards — Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, CANopen, plus digital/analog I/O or relay expansion.
Fieldbus and integration
Two-wire RS-485 Modbus serial runs at 4.8 to 38.4 kbit/s, RTU frame, up to 247 addresses. Ethernet/Modbus TCP handles 10/100 Mbit/s with half/full duplex autonegotiation. The control removable screw terminals accept 0.5 to 1.5 mm² (AWG 20–16). For the power connection, line side uses screw terminals; motor side uses M10 bars. Mounting is cabinet-mount, UL Type 1 or 12 per UL 61800-5-1 when integrated into a cabinet. Pollution degree 2 per IEC 61800-5-1. Vibration resistance 1.5 mm peak-to-peak at 2–13 Hz, 0.5 gn at 13–200 Hz.
