Drive integration note
The Schneider ATV6A0C16R4 is a modular Altivar Process ATV600 drive rated for 160 kW normal duty and 132 kW heavy duty at 440 V, drawing 255 A normal duty line current and 214 A heavy duty. Comes with an integrated EMC filter compliant to IEC 61800-3 category C3 for 300 m cable runs. Safe torque off (STO) rated SIL 3 is built in, covering motor and drive protection. Modular variant includes the power module, control unit, mechanical mounting kits, and fuse set ready for cabinet mounting.
Supply and I/O requirements
Digital inputs and STO circuits need an external 24 V DC (19…30 V) supply. The internal supply for a reference potentiometer (1 to 10 kΩ) provides 10.5 V DC ±5 %. A separate internal 24 V DC (21…27 V) source, rated <200 mA with overload and short-circuit protection, powers the digital inputs and STO. Analog inputs AI1–AI3 are software-configurable as 0–10 V (30 kΩ impedance) or 0/4–20 mA (250 Ω), 12-bit resolution. Accuracy is ±0.6 % over 60 °C temperature variation. Analog outputs AO1, AO2 carry ±1 % accuracy over the same span. DI5 and DI6 can be programmed as pulse inputs up to 30 kHz. Sampling times: 2 ms ±0.5 ms for DI1–DI4, 5 ms for DI5–DI6, 5 ms ±0.1 ms for analog inputs, 10 ms ±1 ms for analog outputs.
Lifecycle stage is current. CE marked. Complies with IEC 61800-3, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61000-3-12, IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, and IEC 13849-1. Maximum THDI is under 48 % full load per IEC 61000-3-12. Pollution degree 2 per IEC 61800-5-1. Operating altitude 1000 to 4800 m with 1 % current derating per 100 m.
