Drive for conveyor zones
The ATV6A0C25R4: Heavy duty rating drops to 200 kW at 440 V, which gives you constant-torque headroom for a screw conveyor or belts under high breakaway load. Apparent power at normal duty is 302 kVA, heavy duty 248 kVA.
This drive carries a current lifecycle stage — no end-of-life notice active. CE marking is on the nameplate, and standards compliance includes IEC 61800-3, IEC 61508 (SIL 3 for STO), and IEC 13849-1. Documentation pack covers the declaration of conformity per Schneider's standard.
The ATV6A0C25R4 is a modular version shipped as a kit: control unit, two 160 kW power modules, mechanical mounting parts, connection set, and front cover. Cabinet mount, forced-convection cooling. Slot A accepts Profibus, PROFINET, DeviceNet, or CANopen; slot A/B also accept I/O or relay extension modules. Analog inputs AI1–AI3 are 12-bit, software-configurable voltage or current, with sampling every 5 ms. Fast digital inputs DI1–DI4 sample at 2 ms. STO inputs are 24 V DC with <200 mA total draw.
Duty ratings for conveyor loads
Normal duty (250 kW at 440 V, 396 A line current, 302 kVA) is sized for variable-torque applications like fan or pump-drive conveyors. Heavy duty (200 kW at 440 V, 325 A line current, 248 kVA) covers constant-torque loads — think pallet conveyors or screw feeders. THDI stays under 48% at full load.
