The Schneider ATV6A0C35T4 is a modular Altivar Process ATV600 drive rated for 550 hp at 480 V normal duty (450 hp heavy duty), drawing 586 A normal duty line current. It speaks native Modbus serial (RS-485 RTU) and 10/100 Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP via the embedded port, and accepts slot-A option cards for Profibus, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, or Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP — so it folds into any BMS without a gateway hack. Safety is built in: Safe Torque Off (STO) rated SIL 3 per IEC 61508, using dedicated 24 V DC inputs on STOA/STOB. That saves an external safety relay for basic stop functions.
Cabinet-mounted with forced convection cooling. Digital inputs are 24 V DC (19–30 V), the analog inputs are software-configurable 0–10 V or 0/4–20 mA with 12-bit resolution. Internal supplies include a 10.5 V DC reference for a 1–10 kΩ potentiometer and a separate 24 V DC supply for digital inputs and STO, all short-circuit protected under 200 mA.
It operates over 50/60 Hz ±5% supply, at altitudes up to 4800 m with derating (1% per 100 m above 1000 m). Pollution degree 2 per IEC 61800-5-1.
