The Schneider Electric ATV6A0M10R4 is a modular cabinet-mount drive from the Altivar Process ATV600 series, rated for 1000 kW at 440 V in normal duty and 800 kW in heavy duty. It ships as a kit comprising the control unit, mechanical mounting kits, power connection set, fuse set, six 160 kW power modules, and a front cover — a complete drive assembly, not a bare module.
Supply and control architecture
Digital inputs and STO are powered from a 24 V DC supply (21...27 V for STO, 19...30 V for general digital inputs), with internal overload and short-circuit protection. A separate 10.5 V DC reference supply is available for a 1 to 10 kOhm potentiometer. The internal supply for digital inputs and STO is rated for <200 mA.
Safety and compliance
The drive carries CE marking and complies with IEC 61800-3, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61000-3-12, IEC 60721-3, and UL 61800-5-1. The integrated EMC filter meets category C3 of IEC 61800-3 for installations with a 300 m cable run.
Fieldbus and I/O
The drive ships with a Modbus serial interface (2-wire RS485, RTU frame, configurable 4.8 to 38.4 kbit/s) and a Modbus TCP slave on Ethernet (10/100 Mbit/s, half/full duplex, auto-negotiation). Slot A accepts optional communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, or CANopen (with RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals). Slots A and B also accept digital/analog I/O extension or output relay extension modules. Six programmable digital inputs (DI1–DI6) include two configurable as pulse inputs up to 30 kHz, and three analog inputs (AI1–AI3) are software-configurable for voltage (0–10 V DC) or current (0–20 mA/4–20 mA) with 12-bit resolution.
