It includes Safe Torque Off (STO) rated SIL 3, removing the need for an external safety relay in many applications. This modular variant ships as a kit: control unit, power module, mounting hardware, fuses, and front cover. Forced convection cooling handles the thermal load; mount it in a cabinet with airflow clearance per the installation manual.

Cabinet-mount design with UL Type 1 or Type 12 rating when properly integrated. Degree of protection relies on the enclosure; the drive itself is not sealed for washdown. Pollutions degree 2 environment only. Fieldbus options fit Slot A: Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, CANopen daisy chain RJ45 or SUB-D 9 or screw terminals, plus digital/analog I/O and relay extension modules. Onboard Modbus serial at 4.8–38.4 kbps and Ethernet/Modbus TCP at 10/100 Mbps with autonegotiation. Braking to standstill by DC injection, no external braking resistor required for stopping alone (vertical loads need the resistor). Switching frequency adjustable 2–4.9 kHz with derating for higher settings.
