Drive selection memo — ATV6B0C13Q4
Schneider's ATV6B0C13Q4 is a modular Altivar Process ATV600 drive rated for 132 kW normal duty and 110 kW heavy duty at 400 V, drawing 208 A line current in normal duty and 174 A in heavy duty. It ships as a kit: power module, control unit, mounting hardware, power connection set, and a set of fuses — no separate ordering of accessories for a basic install. Built for both asynchronous and synchronous motors, with an adjustable switching frequency from 2 to 8 kHz (derate above 2.5 kHz). The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 for 300 m cable runs, so you can skip an external filter for most industrial line-ups. Pollution degree 2, vibration and shock per IEC 60068-2-6 and 60068-2-27.
Fieldbus and I/O — slot architecture
Slot A accepts a communication module for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, or CANopen (RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals). Slot A and slot B can each take a digital/analog I/O extension or an output relay extension. The base unit includes a slave Modbus TCP port (10/100 Mbit/s) and a 2-wire RS 485 Modbus serial port (4.8 to 38.4 kbit/s, RTU frame, 1–247 addresses). Control wiring lands on removable screw terminals accepting 0.5–1.5 mm² (AWG 20–16). Line-side connection is screw terminal; motor connection uses M10 x 2 bars.
This is a current-production item — no end-of-life notice on file. It carries CE marking and complies with IEC 61800-3, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61000-3-12, IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, and IEC 13849-1. The integrated EMC filter is C3 rated for 300 m cable, and total harmonic current distortion (THDI) stays under 5% at full load per IEEE 519. Operating altitude is 1000 m base with derating up to 4800 m. Ambient relative humidity 5–95% non-condensing. Power dissipation at 2.5 kHz switching: 5040 W normal duty, 4180 W heavy duty — plan cabinet cooling accordingly.
