The Schneider ATV6B0C13Q6 is an Altivar Process ATV600 drive in the modular version, rated 132 kW at 690 V normal duty and 110 kW at 690 V heavy duty. It handles synchronous and asynchronous motors, with line current of 122 A normal duty, 102 A heavy duty at 690 V. The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 for 300 m cable runs, and the drive carries STO (safe torque off) SIL 3.
The 132 kW normal-duty / 110 kW heavy-duty split is the key selection gate: normal duty covers constant-torque loads like conveyors; heavy duty applies to variable-torque pumps and fans where peak current is lower. The drive's apparent power is 146 kVA normal duty, 122 kVA heavy duty at 690 V. Switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 4.9 kHz with derating — higher frequencies reduce motor noise but increase thermal load on the drive. Forced convection cooling means the drive needs clearance around the heatsink; cabinet integration requires UL type 1 or type 12 enclosure integration per UL 61800-5-1. Operating altitude is below 2000 m with current derating above 1000 m. The drive includes a full set of protection functions: thermal protection for drive and motor, safe torque off, overcurrent, short-circuit, phase loss, overvoltage/undervoltage on the DC bus, overspeed, and motor phase break. Prospective line Isc is 50 kA, so the drive can be installed on high-fault-capacity supplies without additional series fusing in most cases. The kit composition includes the power module, control unit, mechanical mounting kit, and a power connection set of fuses — a near-complete package for installation.
Fieldbus and I/O options
The drive ships with Modbus serial (2-wire RS-485, RTU frame, 1–247 addresses) and Modbus TCP slave access on a 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet port. Slot A accepts option cards for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, or CANopen (daisy chain RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals). Slot A/B also accept digital/analog I/O extension and output relay extension modules. This gives flexibility to match existing fieldbus architecture without a separate gateway.
