Safety is SIL3-capable via the STO (Safe Torque Off) function, so you can tie it into a safety-rated stop circuit without a separate contactor. Ratings that drive the decision
At 480 V, the drive's apparent power hits 203 kVA normal duty, so the upstream MCCB and cable need to handle at least 250 A continuous. Switching frequency adjusts from 2.5 to 8 kHz — higher kHz cuts motor noise but derates the output current.
