The Schneider ATV6B0C25Q6 is a modular variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV600 range, rated for 250 kW normal duty at 690 V and 200 kW heavy duty, with a corresponding line current of 228 A normal / 183 A heavy. It carries an integrated EMC filter compliant with IEC 61800-3 category C3, covering up to 300 m of motor cable, and offers Safe Torque Off (STO) to SIL 3.
The integrated EMC filter (category C3) is sized for industrial environments where the drive is installed in a cabinet with a protective earth. It suppresses both conducted and radiated emissions on the line and motor sides, which saves you an external filter in most second-environment applications. That means the drive can serve in safety-related control loops without a separate safety relay, as long as your control system handles the dual-channel request. Forced-convection cooling means fan noise is present — 73 dB per the EEC directive — so plan the cabinet ventilation accordingly if noise is a constraint in the machine cell.
Fieldbus and I/O options
Slot A accepts communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, and CANopen (with three connector variants). Slot A/B also takes digital/analog I/O extensions or a relay output module. The drive ships with a Modbus serial port (2-wire RS-485, RTU, 4.8–38.4 kbit/s) and a Modbus TCP port (10/100 Mbit/s half/full duplex) as standard. This gives you a flexible fieldbus interface without opening the box for an optional card in many cases.
Cabinet mount only (UL type 1 or 12 when integrated); pollution degree 2; operating altitude ≤2000 m with derating above 1000 m; shock 4 gn/11 ms; vibration 1.5 mm peak-peak at 2–13 Hz and 0.5 gn at 13–200 Hz. Forced convection requires clearance for airflow.
