The ATV6B0C31T4: Integrated EMC filter per IEC 61800-3 category C3 supports cable runs up to 984.3 ft (300 m) without external filtering in most industrial environments. Safe torque off (STO) rated SIL 3 is built in, meeting machinery directive requirements for safe drive disable. Communication options cover Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, and CANopen via slot A modules. The drive also includes a Modbus serial port (RS-485, 2-wire, RTU, rates 4.8 to 38.4 kbit/s) and an Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP port at 10/100 Mbit/s. Data format is 8 bits with configurable parity.
The modular version includes a control unit, mechanical mounting kits, power connection set, fuses, a 160 kW power module, and front cover in the kit — everything needed for a standard cabinet installation except the line reactor and braking resistor.
Installation and mounting
Cabinet mount only (UL type 1 or type 12 per UL 61800-5-1). Forced convection cooling — ensure adequate airflow clearance above and below. Switching frequency adjustable from 2 to 8 kHz with derating; default 2.5 kHz. Operating altitude up to 1000 m without derating; derate current above that up to 4800 m. Relative humidity 5–95% non-condensing. Vibration resistance 1.5 mm peak-to-peak at 2–13 Hz, 0.5 gn at 13–200 Hz. Shock resistance 4 gn for 11 ms. Prospective line short-circuit current rating 50 kA. Braking to standstill by DC injection. Motor protections include thermal, phase break, and safe torque off; drive protections cover overcurrent, short-circuit, over/undervoltage, phase loss, overspeed, and overheating.
