The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3, allowing up to 300 m of shielded cable without external filtering. Line current pulls 701 A at 500 V normal duty, 564 A at 500 V heavy duty. Prospective line Isc rating is 50 kA, so coordination with upstream protection is straightforward.

Communication and control options

Slot A accepts plug-in communication modules: Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, or CANopen (RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals). Slot A and slot B also accept digital/analog I/O extension and output relay modules. Built-in Modbus serial is 2-wire RS-485, RTU mode, 8-bit configurable parity, addresses 1–247. Ethernet runs 10/100 Mbit/s with half/full duplex autonegotiation.
