The ATV930C22N4US is a 3-phase variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV900 family, rated for 380...480 V supply. Nominal output current is 427 A, with continuous output rated at 427 A at 2.5 kHz for normal duty and 302 A at 2.5 kHz for heavy duty. Motor power ratings are 220 kW normal duty and 160 kW heavy duty. This standard version includes a braking chopper, making it suitable for applications requiring dynamic braking without an external resistor module. The drive is wall-mount enclosed with IP00 protection and UL type 1 enclosure rating.
Control and I/O supply
Control power comes from an external 24 V DC supply (19...30 V) for digital inputs, plus an internal 24 V DC supply (21...27 V) for digital inputs and STO. An internal 10.5 V DC reference supply is provided for a 1 to 10 kOhm potentiometer. Insulation test is 1 MOhm at 500 V DC to earth. This allows flexible fieldbus integration without altering the base drive hardware.
The drive carries CE marking and complies with UL 508C, IEC 61800-3, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61000-3-12, IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, and IEC 13849-1. It is TAA, BABA, and BAA compliant via COTS.
Wall mount only, vertical within ±10 degrees. Control wiring uses screw terminals accepting 0.5...1.5 mm² (AWG 20...16). Power terminals accept 2 x 150 mm² (2 x 350 kcmil) for line, motor, and DC bus connections. Cooling air volume is 860 m³/h (227192 gal/h US). Noise level is 73 dB. Operating altitude up to 3000 m with 1% current derating per 100 m above 1000 m.
