The ATV930C25N4CUS is a 380-480 V 3-phase variable speed drive rated 250 kW normal duty and 200 kW heavy duty, delivering 481 A continuous output at 2.5 kHz in normal duty and 387 A in heavy duty. It's the standard variant without a braking chopper, so for applications requiring controlled deceleration or vertical loads, an external braking resistor and chopper module must be added. Integrated EMC filter; EMC plate option available.

Wall-mount enclosed design with IP21 and UL Type 1 protection. Install vertically within ±10°. Operates at altitudes up to 1000 m without derating; above that, derate output current 1% per 100 m to a maximum of 3000 m. Vibration resistance: 1.5 mm peak-to-peak at 2-13 Hz, 1 gn at 13-200 Hz; shock rated 15 gn for 11 ms.

Control and I/O

Digital inputs require an external 24 V DC supply (19-30 V); internal 24 V supply (21-27 V) is available for digital inputs and STO. A 10.5 V DC reference potentiometer supply is included. Communication is via Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP with half/full duplex and auto-negotiation at 10/100 Mbit. Optional slot A modules add Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, CANopen, or Ethernet Powerlink. Adjustable PID regulator built in; suited for both synchronous and asynchronous motors.
