The ATV930D11N4US is a 380-480 V 3-phase variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV900 series, rated for 11.0 kW normal duty and 7.5 kW heavy duty, with a nominal output current of 23.5 A at 4 kHz for normal duty and 16.5 A at 4 kHz for heavy duty. It comes as a standard version with an integrated braking chopper, making it ready for dynamic braking without an external chopper module on vertical loads or high-inertia stops. The drive is enclosed in an IP21 / UL type 1 wall-mount enclosure, suited for clean indoor environments where drips and falling dirt are the main concern.
The 23.5 A continuous output current at 4 kHz is the headline number for normal-duty motor sizing — match it to a 11 kW 4-pole induction motor on a pump or fan. For constant-torque loads like conveyors or extruders, use the 16.5 A heavy-duty rating, which corresponds to 7.5 kW. The supply voltage range of 380-480 V covers common global industrial mains, and the 3-phase input means it will not run on single-phase — plan for a three-phase feed. Three option slots (A, B, C) accept communication modules (Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, CANopen, Ethernet Powerlink), I/O extension, encoder interfaces, or relay outputs — configure before installation.
