Drive specs at a glance
The Schneider Electric ATV930U07N4US Altivar Process ATV900 variable speed drive is rated 0.75 kW normal duty / 0.37 kW heavy duty on a 380-480 V 3-phase supply, with a continuous output current of 2.2 A at 4 kHz normal duty (1.5 A at 4 kHz heavy duty). Braking chopper is built in; integrated EMC filter covers the common-mode range. IP21 / UL Type 1 enclosure suits clean, dry environments – no extra gland plate needed for basic install. Control supply requires an external 24 V DC (19-30 V) for digital inputs; internal rails provide 10.5 V ±5 % for a reference potentiometer and 24 V (21-27 V) for digital inputs and STO. Isolation test at 500 V DC to earth. Communication slots accept Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, CANopen (daisy chain or screw terminals), or Ethernet Powerlink modules – no fieldbus is fixed at the factory.
Mounting and wiring
Wall-mounted, vertical ±10 °. Pollution degree 2, relative humidity 5-95 % non-condensing. Altitude derating: full rated current up to 1000 m, then 1 % derating per 100 m above that. Vibration resistance: 1.5 mm pp at 2-13 Hz, 1 gn at 13-200 Hz per IEC 60068-2-6. Shock: 15 gn for 11 ms. Cooling air volume ~38 m³/h. Power and motor terminals: screw clamp, 2.5-6 mm² (AWG 14-10). Control terminals: 0.5-1.5 mm² (AWG 20-16). DC bus terminals same as motor side – handy for shared DC bus or external braking resistor if the internal chopper isn't enough for high-inertia stops.
