The Schneider ATV930U22N4US is a variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV900 series, sized for a 2.2 kW asynchronous or synchronous motor on 380-480 V three-phase supply. It includes a braking chopper for stopping or controlled deceleration – no external brake resistor for basic use, but provision for one on the DC bus terminals. Normal duty delivers 5.6 A continuous at 4 kHz switching; heavy duty drops to 4 A. EMC filter is integrated; the EMC plate option handles tougher line-side noise limits. Communication slots (A, B, C) accept Profibus DP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, CANopen, or Ethernet Powerlink modules – pick your fieldbus without swapping the drive base.
Mounting & wiring
Internal supply for digital inputs and STO is 24 V DC (21–27 V). External 24 V DC (19–30 V) can also feed the digital inputs. For the reference potentiometer (1–10 kΩ), the drive provides 10.5 V DC ±5% – no separate 10 V source needed.
