Drive fit at a glance
The ATV930U55N4US is a 380-480 V three-phase variable speed drive rated for 5.5 kW normal duty with a continuous output current of 12.7 A at 4 kHz, and it includes a braking chopper for dynamic braking with an external resistor. Sized for pump, fan, and light conveyor duty where a braking resistor is used for overhauling loads. An integrated EMC filter is standard; an optional EMC plate can be added for stricter installations.
Integration and expansion
Communication option slots accept Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, CANopen, and Ethernet Powerlink modules. Digital and analog I/O extension and relay output modules can be added via slots A, B, C. Mounting is wall mount with vertical orientation within ±10 degrees. IP21 / UL Type 1 enclosure for indoor panel installation. Wiring: control terminals accept 0.5–1.5 mm² (AWG 20–16); line and DC bus terminals 2.5–6 mm² (AWG 14–10); motor terminals 4–6 mm² (AWG 12–10). Digital inputs and STO require an external 24 V DC supply (19–30 V); an internal 24 V supply is also provided for digital inputs and STO. A separate 10.5 V DC supply powers a reference potentiometer (1–10 kΩ).
