The Schneider ATV980C35Q4X1 is an Altivar Process ATV900 regenerative variable speed drive, rated for 380–415 V three-phase supply, delivering 355 to 280 kW output. It ships as a floor-standing compact enclosure, IP23, with forced convection cooling. The unit includes the Spacial SF enclosure, a graphical operating panel mounted in the door, main switch, line choke, dv/dt filter choke, and terminal blocks for mains and motor — essentially a pre-integrated drive cabinet ready for power wiring. THDI stays under 5 % at full load per IEEE 519, so it meets typical utility harmonic limits without external filtering in most installations. Communication is handled via EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and Modbus serial — three protocols on board, no option card needed for the common fieldbuses.
Supply voltage tolerance is 380–415 V -10…+6 %. Operating temperature range is 0…40 °C without derating. Altitude derating starts at 1000 m — 1 % per 100 m up to 3800 m. EMC immunity is specified at level 3 for electrostatic discharge, radiated RF, conducted RF, and surge (1.2/50 µs – 8/20 µs), with fast transient immunity at level 4. Vibration resistance is 1.5 mm peak-to-peak at 3–20 Hz and 0.6 gn at 10–200 Hz, rated 3M3 per IEC 60721-3-3.
Marked CE, compliant with IEC 61800-3 (EMC), IEC 60204-1 (safety of machinery), IEC 61800-2 (adjustable speed drives), and IEC 61800-5-1 (electrical safety). Environmental resistance includes chemical class 3C3, dust class 3S3, and humidity class 3K3 per IEC 60721-3-3. Storage temperature range is -25…70 °C.
