STO SIL 3 and integrated EMC filter

The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 for 300 m cable runs, which covers most industrial motor cable lengths without an add-on filter. The drive supports both synchronous and asynchronous motors, and the switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 8 kHz with derating above 2.5 kHz — raising it quiets motor whine but reduces continuous output current.

Communication slots and control supply

Three option slots (A, B, C) accept fieldbus modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, CANopen (RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals), plus digital/analog I/O and relay extension modules. Slot B also accepts encoder interface modules (digital 5/12 V, analog, resolver). The control block has dual RJ45 for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and one RJ45 for Modbus serial.
