The Schneider ATV9A0C13Q4 is an Altivar Process ATV900 modular drive rated for 132 kW at 400 V in normal duty and 110 kW in heavy duty, drawing 233 A and 198 A line current respectively.
Duty ratings and motor match
Normal duty delivers 161 kVA apparent power for a 132 kW asynchronous or synchronous motor; heavy duty drops to 137 kVA for 110 kW. The switching frequency is adjustable from 2.5 to 8 kHz with derating above the default — useful for matching motor cable length or acoustic noise targets.
Safety and compliance
The drive carries CE marking and complies with IEC 61800-3, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61000-3-12, and IEC 60721-3. The integrated EMC filter meets category C3 for 300 m cable runs.
Fieldbus and I/O expansion
Three option card slots (A, B, C) accept Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, CANopen, or digital/analog I/O and relay extension modules. Slot B also supports encoder interfaces (digital 5/12 V, analog, resolver). The control block has dual RJ45 for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and one RJ45 for Modbus serial (RS-485, RTU, 1-247 addresses).
Supply and control wiring
Digital inputs and STO are powered by an internal 24 V DC supply (21...27 V). An external 24 V DC (19...30 V) can also feed the digital inputs. A 10.5 V DC reference supply is provided for a 1 to 10 kOhm potentiometer. Line-side connection is via screw terminals; motor connection uses M10 x 2 bars.
Cabinet-mount design with IP00 protection (requires IP21 or IP54 enclosure integration). Rated for pollution degree 2, operating altitude up to 4800 m with derating above 1000 m, and 5-95% relative humidity without condensation. Vibration resistance: 1.5 mm peak-to-peak at 2-13 Hz, 0.5 gn at 13-200 Hz. Shock resistance: 7 gn for 11 ms.
