The ATV9A0C13T6 is a modular cabinet-mount drive from the Altivar Process ATV900 family. Its headline motor ratings are 150 hp at 600 V normal duty (136 kVA) and 125 hp heavy duty (116 kVA), with line currents of 131 A and 112 A respectively. The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 for up to 300 m of shielded cable, which keeps an external filter off the BOM for typical industrial runs. Control supply splits into three rails: 24 V DC for digital inputs (19–30 V), a separate 10.5 V DC for an analog reference potentiometer (1–10 kΩ), and a dedicated 24 V DC rail (21–27 V) for digital inputs and the STO safety function. Safe torque off is rated SIL 3, so the drive can directly execute a safety demand without a separate safety relay. Communication is handled through slot A option cards supporting Profibus DP, Profinet, EtherCAT, CANopen, or DeviceNet, plus an onboard Ethernet port for Modbus TCP/IP. Three expansion slots (A, B, C) accept digital/analog I/O and relay modules. The kit includes the control unit, power module (200 kW frame), mounting hardware, and a set of fuses.
Mounting is cabinet-mount with IP00 protection; the drive is designed for integration into IP21 or IP54 enclosures. Line connection uses a screw terminal, and motor connection uses M10 bars. Control wiring is via removable screw terminals accepting 0.5–1.5 mm² (AWG 20–16). Switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 4.9 kHz with derating above base ratings. Vibration tolerance: 1.5 mm pk-pk at 2–13 Hz, 0.5 gn at 13–200 Hz per IEC 60068-2-6. Shock resistance: 4 gn for 11 ms. Relative humidity range 5–95% without condensation.
Protection features cover both motor and drive sides: thermal protection, phase loss, overcurrent, short-circuit, DC bus overvoltage, line supply over/undervoltage, phase loss, overspeed, and control circuit break. Safety function is STO SIL 3 conforming to IEC 61508 and ISO 13849-1. Compliance includes IEC 61800-3 (EMC), IEC 61800-5-1 (safety), IEC 61000-3-12 (harmonics), IEC 60721-3 (environmental), and UL 61800-5-1. Prospective line short-circuit current rating is 50 kA. Total harmonic current distortion (THDI) is less than 48% from 80 to 100% load.
