The Schneider Electric ATV9A0C20N6 is an Altivar Process ATV900 modular drive rated for 132 kW normal duty at 500 V with a line current of 183 A. Heavy duty rating drops to 110 kW / 154 A for constant-torque applications like conveyors or extruders. The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3, covering 300 m of motor cable without an external filter for most industrial environments. Apparent power at normal duty is 158 kVA. Built-in Safe Torque Off (STO) rated SIL 3 eliminates the need for a separate safety relay on the power removal function, reducing panel wiring and component count.
Supply is quoted against an RFQ; the modular construction means the power module, control unit, and mounting kit (included in the kit composition) ship as one orderable assembly.
IP00 chassis requires an IP21 or IP54 cabinet (IEC 60529). Cabinet integration meets UL Type 1 or Type 12 per UL 61800-5-1. Forced convection cooling needs clearance around the heatsink — no derating filter at low switching frequencies. Line-side connection uses M10 bolts; control terminals accept 0.5–1.5 mm² (AWG 20–16) removable screw terminals. Prospective line Isc is 50 kA, so upstream SCCR rating must be checked. Slot A accepts Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, or CANopen. Slots B/C handle encoder interfaces and I/O relay expansion. Modbus serial (2-wire RS 485, RTU) supports 1–247 addresses.
