The ATV9A0C31T6 is a modular Altivar Process ATV900 drive rated for 350 hp at 600 V normal duty and 250 hp at 600 V heavy duty, with corresponding line currents of 298 A and 218 A. It handles both synchronous and asynchronous motors and includes an integrated EMC filter compliant with IEC 61800-3 category C3 for installations up to 300 m of cable. The switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 4.9 kHz with derating above 4 kHz. Supply architecture is split: digital inputs and STO take a 24 V DC rail (21...27 V), while a separate 10.5 V DC ±5% supply powers an external reference potentiometer (1 to 10 kΩ). The main power supply frequency is 50...60 Hz ±5%.
Integration checklist
Cabinet-mount only; the drive ships as a kit with the control unit, power module (200 kW), mechanical mounting hardware, power connection set, fuses, and front cover. Protection degree is IP00, intended for integration into IP21 or IP54 cabinets per IEC 61800-5-1 and IEC 60529. Control wiring uses removable screw terminals accepting 0.5...1.5 mm² (AWG 20...16). Line-side connections are screw terminals; motor connections use M10 x 2 bars. Slot A accepts communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, or CANopen (RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals). Slots A/B/C accept digital/analog I/O or output relay extension modules; slot B accepts encoder interface modules (digital 5/12 V, analog, or resolver). Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP runs at 10/100 Mbit/s with half/full duplex and autonegotiation.
