It handles synchronous and asynchronous motors, with a line current of 846 A normal duty and 681 A heavy duty at 400 V. The drive includes an integrated EMC filter rated for 300 m cable runs per IEC 61800-3 category C3, and carries STO (Safe Torque Off) SIL 3 as a built-in safety function.

Control supply and field wiring

Digital inputs and STO take a 24 V DC internal supply (21...27 V) from the drive. An external 24 V DC supply (19...30 V) feeds the digital inputs separately. The reference potentiometer (1 to 10 kOhm) gets 10.5 V DC ±5 % from the drive. Control connections use removable screw terminals accepting 0.5...1.5 mm² / AWG 20...16.

Communication and option slots

Three option card slots (A, B, C) accept communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, CANopen (daisy chain RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals), plus digital/analog I/O and relay extension modules. Slot B also supports 5/12 V digital encoder and analog/resolver encoder interfaces. The control block carries 2 RJ45 for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP at 10/100 Mbit/s and 1 RJ45 for Modbus serial at 4.8 to 38.4 kbit/s.
