The Schneider ATV9A0C63N6 is an Altivar Process ATV900 modular drive rated for 450 kW at 500 V normal duty and 355 kW heavy duty, with a corresponding line current of 607 A normal / 484 A heavy. It handles both asynchronous and synchronous motors. The switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 4.9 kHz with derating. This variant includes an integrated EMC filter compliant with IEC 61800-3 category C3 for 300 m cable runs, and offers Safe Torque Off (STO) SIL 3 as a standard safety function.
Control supply wiring note
The digital inputs require an external 24 V DC supply (19...30 V). An internal supply provides 10.5 V DC (±5%) for a reference potentiometer (1 to 10 kΩ). The STO circuit and internal digital inputs run on a separate 24 V DC supply (21...27 V). All control connections use removable screw terminals, 0.5 to 1.5 mm² (AWG 20–16). Three slots (A, B, C) accept option cards for fieldbus communication (Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, CANopen) and I/O expansion. Slot A also supports encoder or resolver feedback modules.
