The ATV9A0M12Q6: Normal duty delivers 1388 kVA apparent power at 690 V; heavy duty drops to 1160 kVA. The switching frequency is adjustable between 2 and 4.9 kHz with derating — useful for matching motor acoustic noise or reducing losses. Line-side prospective short-circuit current is rated at 50 kA.
Control and safety
The drive provides thermal protection, motor phase break detection, overcurrent between output phases and earth, and DC bus overvoltage monitoring. Control uses removable screw terminals (0.5–1.5 mm²).
Communication and expansion
Comes with dual RJ45 Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP ports plus one RJ45 Modbus serial port. Slot A accepts Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen (RJ45 or SUB-D 9 or screw terminals), or EtherCAT. Slots A/B/C accept digital/analog I/O or output relay extension modules; Slot B also accepts encoder interface modules (5/12 V digital, analog, or resolver). Modbus serial runs RTU at 4.8 to 38.4 kbit/s, addressing up to 247 slaves.
Cabinet-mount design with forced convection cooling. Pollution degree 2 per IEC 61800-5-1. Vibration resistance: 1.5 mm peak-to-peak at 2–13 Hz, 0.5 gn at 13–200 Hz. Shock rated at 4 gn for 11 ms. Relative humidity 5–95% non-condensing.
