The Schneider ATV9B0C11Q4 is an Altivar Process ATV900 modular drive rated 110 kW at 400 V normal duty and 90 kW at 400 V heavy duty, with matched line currents of 175 A and 144 A respectively. It carries STO SIL 3 as a standard safety function and integrates an EMC filter compliant with IEC 61800-3 category C3 for 300 m cable runs.
Supply architecture and control wiring
Digital inputs require an external 24 V DC supply (19...30 V). The drive also provides an internal 24 V DC (21...27 V) supply for digital inputs and STO, plus a 10.5 V DC reference for a 1 to 10 kOhm potentiometer. The control terminals are removable screw terminals accepting 0.5...1.5 mm².
Fieldbus and I/O expansion
Three option slots (A, B, C) accept communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, EtherCAT, and digital/analog I/O or relay extensions. Slot B also supports encoder interfaces (digital 5/12 V, analog, resolver). The drive has two RJ45 ports for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and one RJ45 for Modbus serial (RTU, 2-wire RS485, addresses 1...247).
EMC and power quality
The integrated EMC filter keeps total harmonic current distortion below 5 % at full load (IEEE 519). The drive is rated for 50 kA prospective line short-circuit current. Switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 8 kHz with derating above 2.5 kHz.
Cabinet-mount design, IP00 (requires IP21 or IP54 enclosure). Operating altitude up to 4800 m with derating above 1000 m. Ambient humidity 5...95 % non-condensing. Shock rated at 4 gn for 11 ms; vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6. Forced convection cooling. Noise level 70 dB.
