Supply and control wiring
The ATV9B0C20Q4: Digital inputs and STO are supplied internally at 24 V DC (21...27 V) or externally at 24 V DC (19...30 V). A 10.5 V DC ±5 % reference supply is available for a 1 to 10 kΩ potentiometer. Control wiring uses removable screw terminals accepting 0.5...1.5 mm² (AWG 20...16).
Fieldbus and option slots
The drive has three option slots (A, B, C). Slot A accepts communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen (RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals), or EtherCAT. Slots B and C accept digital/analog I/O extension, relay output, or encoder interface modules (5/12 V digital, analog, or resolver). Built-in Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP on two RJ45 ports and Modbus serial on one RJ45 port at 4.8 to 38.4 kbit/s.
Protection and safety
The drive provides thermal protection, motor phase break detection, short-circuit protection, overvoltage/undervoltage monitoring on the DC bus and line supply, and overspeed detection. STO is rated SIL 3 per IEC 61800-5-2. The drive complies with IEC 61800-3, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61000-3-12, IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, and IEC 13849-1.
Cabinet-mount design with IP00 protection (intended for IP21 or IP54 cabinet integration). Operating altitude up to 4800 m with derating above 1000 m. Ambient humidity 5...95 % without condensation. Vibration resistance: 1.5 mm peak-to-peak at 2...13 Hz, 0.5 gn at 13...200 Hz. Shock resistance: 4 gn for 11 ms. Forced convection cooling. Noise level 70 dB.
