The Schneider ATV9B0C20Q6 is an Altivar Process ATV900 modular cabinet-mount drive rated for 200 kW at 690 V normal duty and 160 kW at 690 V heavy duty, with corresponding line currents of 183 A and 148 A respectively. It also supports regenerative-mode operation at 160 kW normal duty (121 A) and 132 kW heavy duty (99 A).
The 690 V line-current figures define the input conductor and fuse sizing: 183 A for normal-duty motor loads, 148 A for heavy-duty cycles. The apparent power of 219 kVA at 690 V normal duty gives the transformer or generator sizing reference. Switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 4.9 kHz with derating, so you can trade audible noise against motor heating — the 70 dB noise level at rated conditions is a panel-enclosure planning figure. The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 for 300 m cable runs, which covers most industrial installations without an external filter.
Control supply and wiring
The drive provides three internal supplies: 24 V DC (19...30 V) for digital inputs, 10.5 V DC ±5 % for a 1 to 10 kΩ reference potentiometer, and a separate 24 V DC (21...27 V) supply for digital inputs and STO. The control terminals accept 0.5 to 1.5 mm² (AWG 20–16) screw terminals. Communication is handled by dual RJ45 ports for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP plus a separate RJ45 for Modbus serial (RS-485, 2-wire, RTU frame, 4.8–38.4 kbit/s). Slot A accepts Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, or EtherCAT option cards; slots A/B/C accept digital/analog I/O or relay extension modules.
