The integrated EMC filter is rated for 300 m of motor cable under IEC 61800-3 category C3 — enough for most installations without an external filter, as long as the cable run stays within that length. Switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 8 kHz, with derating above 2.5 kHz if you need quieter operation.
