The Schneider ATV9B0C80R4 is an Altivar Process ATV900 modular drive rated for 800 kW at 440 V normal duty and 630 kW at 440 V heavy duty, with matching regenerative-mode ratings. It carries STO (safe torque off) SIL 3 as a built-in safety function, so you can integrate a safety-rated stop without an external safety relay or contactor on the motor circuit.
Normal-duty line current is 1115 A at 440 V; heavy-duty pulls 883 A. The integrated EMC filter is rated for 300 m of motor cable under IEC 61800-3 category C3 — enough for most installations without an external filter, as long as the cable run stays within that length. Switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 8 kHz, with derating above 2.5 kHz if you need quieter operation. Three option-card slots (A, B, C) accept Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, EtherCAT, or I/O extension modules. Slot B also takes encoder interfaces (digital 5/12 V, analog, or resolver). This lets you match the fieldbus to your existing backbone without swapping the drive base.
