The Schneider ATV9B0M12Q6 is a modular Altivar Process ATV900 drive rated for 1200 kW at 690 V normal duty and 1000 kW at 690 V heavy duty. Line current pulls 1078 A at 690 V normal duty, 898 A heavy duty. The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 for 300 m cable runs. Safe torque off (STO) is rated SIL 3.
Supply rails and control wiring
Digital inputs need an external 24 V DC supply (19...30 V). There is an internal 10.5 V DC ±5 % rail for a reference potentiometer (1 to 10 kΩ). The STO and digital input internal supply is a separate 24 V DC rail (21...27 V). Insulation resistance is 1 MΩ at 500 V DC for 1 min.
Option card slots and fieldbus
Slot A accepts Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen (RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals), or EtherCAT. Slot A/B/C can take digital/analog I/O extension or output relay modules. Slot B handles 5/12 V digital encoder, analog encoder, or resolver interface. Native comms include dual RJ45 Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and one RJ45 Modbus serial (RS-485 2-wire, RTU, 4.8–38.4 kbit/s, 1–247 addresses).
