Overview

The BMI0702P36A is a Schneider BMI-series servo motor, 10-pole, three-phase, rated 400 W power output at 2 A continuous current on a 480 V supply. It carries an IP65 enclosure, keyed shaft with 10.16 mm diameter, and absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface feedback providing 32768 points/turn. The motor is compatible with Lexium 32i drive control units (CANopen or EtherCAT) and includes an integrated EMC filter. Maximum radial force at the shaft is 710 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 390 N at 6000 rpm; axial force is limited to 20% of the radial value.

Selection notes

The IP65 rating suits washdown environments; maintain the rating by using appropriate cable glands or conduit seals at the printed circuit board connector. The integrated EMC filter attenuates differential and common-mode noise.
