Built for harsh environments
The BMXAMI0800H is an 8-channel analog input module in the Modicon X80 family, explicitly designed for severe environments. It carries conformal coating (Humiseal 1A33 TC), operates from -25 °C to 70 °C ambient, and is rated for corrosion and dust resistance. That means a panel OEM can place this module in a non-conditioned cabinet or near washdown zones without the usual derating or extra protective covers.
Precision and input flexibility
8 inputs accept voltage and current ranges with 16-bit conversion and 15 bits + sign resolution. Accuracy is 0.15 % FS on current and 0.075 % FS on voltage at 25 °C, with drift of 50 ppm/°C on current and 30 ppm/°C on voltage.
Cycle time and scan performance
Nominal read cycle time is 9 ms for 8 channels. Fast read cycle time is 1 ms + 1 ms per active channel.
Isolation and wiring
Channel-to-channel isolation is non-isolated – so if you need true per-channel galvanic separation for mixing signal types, this isn't the card. But channel-to-bus and channel-to-ground isolation is 1400 V DC, which handles common-mode voltages from external faults. Input impedance is 250 Ω on current ranges, so loop-powered transmitters see a standard burden. The 28-way connector handles all field wiring in one plug.
