The BMXDDO1602 is a Modicon X80 discrete output module with 16 transistor outputs, 24V DC positive logic. Each output is rated 0.5 A (0.625 A per channel with external fuse), and the module can deliver up to 10 A total. Response time is 1.2 ms, and the outputs are short-circuit and overload protected via electronic circuit breaker and current limiter. Diagnostic LEDs include a green RUN LED, a green channel LED per output, a red ERR LED, and a red I/O LED. This gives immediate field visibility of module health and per-channel status without a software scan.

Power draw is 79 mA at 3.3 V DC from the backplane. Per-channel output can be paralleled (max 2 outputs) for higher current – ensure the application stays within the module total of 10 A.
