8 relay outputs at 100–150 V DC
The BMXDRA0804T is an 8-channel relay output module in the Modicon X80 family, switching 100–150 V DC loads at up to 0.3 A per channel with response times under 10 ms. Each output is normally-open, positive logic, and requires an external fast-blow fuse per channel or group for overload and short-circuit protection, plus a flyback diode across each DC load for overvoltage suppression.
Minimum load considerations
The minimum switching current is 100 mA at 5 V DC, which means this module cannot reliably switch dry contacts or very low-level signals below that threshold. Rated electrical durability is 100000 cycles for DC-13 loads at 12 W and 125 V DC, and 20000000 mechanical cycles.
Built for extended-temperature environments
Operating range spans -25 to 70°C with 5 to 95% humidity at 55°C, vibration tolerance of 3 gn, shock resistance of 30 gn, and altitude up to 2000 m (derated to 5000 m). This module is also rated for gas, dust, sand, salt, mold, and fungal spore resistance per environmental class 3C4, 3S4, 3B2 — suitable for aggressive industrial atmospheres.
