Product details

The BMXDRA0815: Eight relay outputs in a single Modicon X80 slice, rated for 3 A continuous per common pole and switching 24-240 V AC or 24-125 V DC. The module fits a standard X80 backplane slot and draws 101 mA at 24 V DC plus 40 mA from the 3.3 V rail.

Protection and diagnostics

The module does not include internal overcurrent or overvoltage protection; each output channel needs a fast-blow fuse for short-circuit and overload protection, plus a flyback diode (DC) or RC snubber (AC) for inductive loads. Status feedback runs through four front-panel LEDs: a green RUN, a red ERR, a red I/O, and a green channel-diagnostic LED per output.
