Factory-assembled 40-way cordset — no field crimping
The Schneider Electric BMXFCC503 is a preformed cordset for the Modicon X80 I/O platform. It converts the 40-way module connector to two HE10 plugs over a 5 m cable with 0.324 mm² conductors — 40 wires total, split across two HE10 connectors. Built for the Telefast Advantys ABE7 sub-base system, it eliminates 40 individual field terminations with a single pre-tested assembly.
For a panel shop wiring a Modicon M340 or X80 rack, this cordset replaces a bundle of discrete wires between the I/O module and the terminal block. The HE10 connectors are keyed and latched, so the cable doesn't back out under vibration — no cable ties, no spiral wrap, no label tags.

What it replaces
Without the BMXFCC503, the panel builder routes 40 discrete wires from the I/O module terminal block to two HE10 connectors — roughly two hours of cutting, stripping, ferrule-crimping, and point-to-point checking. The preformed cordset is a single part number: plug it in, dress the cable, done.
