The BMXNOC0402 is a communication module for Schneider's Modicon M580 (and compatible M340) PAC rack. It provides four 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet RJ45 ports with an integrated switch, handling Modbus TCP and Ethernet/IP I/O Scanner messaging, as well as bandwidth management, FDR server, SNMP, RSTP, and port mirroring.
Power and physical interface
Powered internally via the rack backplane, drawing 555 mA at 3.3 V DC. No external supply needed. Enclosure is IP20, rated for 0 to 60 °C ambient operation. Front-panel LEDs indicate RUN, ERR, Ethernet network status (ETH STS), and port configuration/network status (ETH MS, ETH NS) — five indicators total for quick diagnostics.
Compliance and web server
Carries CE marking per EU Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. Web server functionality is Transparent Ready class B30, which consumes application memory when activated.
