BMXNRP0201C — a Modicon X80 fibre optic repeater with two RJ45 100BASE-TX ports and two 100BASE-FX single-mode fiber ports running at 1310 nm. Converts copper to fiber and back, covering distances up to 15 km on 9/125 µm single-mode cable. That's another SKU I don't need to worry about for long-haul links in a control network.
Mounting and environment
IP20-rated body, 32 mm wide, 86 mm deep, 100 mm tall — slots into a standard DIN-rail cabinet without chewing up panel space. Rated for -25 to 60 °C operation, 0 to 95 % humidity, and altitudes up to 4000 m. Conformal coating handles the nasty stuff: gas class Gx, dust 3S4, salt level 2, even hazardous location Class I Div 2. If the cabinet's in a field environment or near a conveyor line, this repeater handles the grit. Hot-swap capable — pull it out without cycling the rack. Current draw 140 mA typical, 200 mA max off the 24 V supply. Dielectric strength 1400 V DC between field and bus; that's isolation you don't have to second-guess.
