6-slot rack for Modicon X80
The Schneider BMXXBP0600 is a Modicon X80 backplane providing 6 bus X slots for mounting I/O, communication, or processor modules in the Modicon M340 automation platform. It acts as the passive backplane backbone, carrying the bus and power rails between modules. Power consumption 1.68 W. IP20 finger-safe protection.
For DIN rail mounting, attach the supplied clips and snap onto 35 mm rail. For panel mount, drill four holes to the pattern on the backplane and secure with M4/M5/M6 screws. Leave clearance for connector XBE on the right side. Electrical connection is via one expansion connector (XBE) to the first module slot. Ensure the backplane is installed before any modules – the bus contacts on the backplane must be free of debris. Ambient operating temperature 0-60 °C, relative humidity 10-95% non-condensing. Adequate airflow around the backplane is recommended; no derating required within this range.
