The C104MG016 is a TM-G thermal-magnetic trip unit for the ComPacT NSX100...250 molded-case circuit breaker platform. The LI protection profile — thermal overload (L) and fixed magnetic short-circuit (I) at 63 A — is tuned for generator applications, where the trip curve needs to ride through inrush without nuisance opening.
Instantaneous magnetic pickup is fixed at 63 A (about 4 x In), which is typical for generator feeder protection — high enough to avoid tripping on generator start-up transients but low enough to clear a bolted fault.
IP40 front-face protection keeps tools and fingers out of the breaker mechanism. Class II electrical shock protection means no earth connection is required on the breaker body itself.
