It provides LI protection — thermal overload (L) and magnetic short-circuit (I) — and is rated 50 A at 50 °C for distribution applications in AC or DC networks per EN/IEC 60947-2. Four-pole configuration with 3D protected poles (no neutral protection) and a left-side neutral position. The long-time pickup (Ir) is adjustable from 0.7 to 1.0 x In; instantaneous pickup (Ii) is fixed at 500 A. Long-time delay is fixed, with a range of 120–400 s at 1.5 x In and 15 s at 6 x Ir.
This trip unit mounts into a fixed ComPacT NSX100, NSX160, or NSX250 breaker frame. Class II electrical shock protection — no earth connection required on the trip unit itself.
