The C10F2TM025 is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX100F circuit breaker with a 25 A TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit, 2-pole, fixed-mount, rated for distribution duty per EN/IEC 60947-2. The 25 A rating at 40 °C sets the continuous current limit for the protected circuit — size your upstream conductor and downstream load to stay at or below that figure at the panel ambient. The TM-D trip provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection; the magnetic pickup is fixed, not adjustable, so verify the inrush of your load won't cause nuisance trips on motor or transformer starts. Breaking capacity: 36 kA Icu at 240 V AC, 18 kA at 415 V AC, 15 kA at 440 V, 10 kA at 525 V, and 5 kA at 690 V. On DC, 36 kA at 250 V DC (1 pole) and 36 kA at 500 V DC (2 poles in series). IP40 front face, IK07 impact resistance.
Lifecycle and sourcing — current production, quoted to order
Electrical durability is rated at 20,000 cycles at 277 V at In/2, and 10,000 cycles at 277 V at In. For a distribution breaker seeing infrequent switching (a few operations per month), that's effectively a lifetime rating.
Integration and mounting notes
Fixed-mount on a backplate. Dimensions: 161 mm high, 70 mm wide, 86 mm deep. Front connections top and bottom — no rear or plug-in option on this variant. Toggle control handle. Relative humidity 0–95 %. Overvoltage category III. Utilisation category A (not intended for frequent motor switching under load — that's category B or C territory). No earth-leakage protection integrated; add a Vigi module externally if ground-fault protection is needed.
