The Schneider Electric C10F34V100 is a ComPacT NSX100F molded-case circuit breaker with a MicroLogic 4.2 electronic trip unit, rated 100 A at 40 °C and delivering 85 kA Icu at 240 V AC. At 415 V the rating drops to 36 kA Icu, still enough for most European industrial feeders. The 4.2 trip unit provides L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit with fixed delay), I (instantaneous short-circuit), and R (earth-leakage) protection in one package — so this single breaker handles both overcurrent and ground-fault detection, saving a separate RCD.

Mounts on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation — no DIN-rail adapter needed.
Electrical durability and application class
Rated for Category A (no intentional short-time delay for selectivity with downstream breakers — it trips instantaneously on short-circuit). Electrical durability is 50,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current (In/2), and 30,000 cycles at full In. At 690 V the count drops to 20,000 cycles at In/2 and 10,000 at In. Mechanical durability is 50,000 cycles — the toggle mechanism itself outlasts the electrical contacts under heavy fault duty.
Overvoltage category IV — suitable for main distribution boards at the service entrance. The integrated earth-leakage protection (R function) means the breaker meets requirements for residual current protection without an external module. Operating altitude is 2000 m without derating; above that, up to 5000 m, derating applies. Relative humidity range is 0 to 95 %, non-condensing.
