The Schneider Electric C10F44V100 is a ComPacT NSX100F moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated 100 A at 40 °C, with a breaking capacity code F delivering 36 kA Icu at 415 V AC per IEC 60947-2. It is a 4-pole unit with an electronic MicroLogic 4.2 trip unit that provides L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit with fixed delay), I (instantaneous short-circuit), and R (earth-leakage) protection in a single package. At the more common 480 V AC, it still holds 25 kA Icu per UL 60947-4-1, covering most North American industrial distribution applications. Integrated earth-leakage protection (R function) eliminates the need for a separate RCD or GFCI module downstream, saving one DIN-width slot in the panel and one wiring step.
Mounting and integration into a panel
Mounts on a backplate (not DIN rail) in either horizontal or vertical orientation, flat on the back. Dimensions are 161 mm high by 140 mm wide by 86 mm deep. Front connections both top and bottom, with a 35 mm connection pitch. IP40 front face protection keeps out tools and fingers; IK07 impact rating means it survives accidental hammer knocks during panel build. Toggle handle for manual switching. The OFF position is reached via the IΔn rotary switch for earth-leakage testing. Five accessory slots are available for shunt trips, auxiliary contacts, or under-voltage releases — plan those before wiring to avoid rework.
