It carries a 100 kA Icu breaking capacity at 220/240 V AC (50/60 Hz) per IEC 60947-2, which means it can safely interrupt fault currents up to that level without upstream devices needing to clear the fault — a key selectivity headroom for distribution panels feeding downstream subfeeds.
