It is a 4-pole, 100 A frame device rated for distribution applications and certified to EN/IEC 60947-2. The TM-D trip provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection in a single unit, with the thermal element rated for 80 A at 50 °C.
Breaking capacity and what it means for your panel
The H breaking capacity code delivers 100 kA Icu at 220/240 V AC, 70 kA at 380/415 V, and 65 kA at 440 V. The 10 kA Icu at 690 V is a derated ceiling, not a typical operating point for a 4-pole distribution breaker.
Mounts flat on a backplate in both horizontal and vertical orientations. Front-front connection (upside and downside) simplifies busbar or cable routing in a distribution panel. The 35 mm connection pitch and 4-pole layout with neutral on the left match standard panel-building practice. Pollution degree 3 (IEC 60664-1) means it tolerates conductive pollution typical of industrial control rooms — no sealed enclosure required for normal duty.
Durability and protection
Rated for 50,000 mechanical cycles and 50,000 electrical cycles at 440 V In/2, dropping to 30,000 at full 440 V In. IP40 finger protection and IK07 impact resistance cover panel-side handling.
