The C10N3TM080C is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX100N frame circuit breaker, 3-pole, rated 80 A at 50 °C with a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit. Breaking capacity is 50 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC and 440 V AC, 36 kA at 500 V, and 10 kA at 660/690 V — that's N-frame performance (50 kA at 415 V). For a panel fed from a transformer in the 500–1000 kVA range, this holds selectivity with upstream fuses or a higher-rated breaker. The TM-D trip provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection. Thermal pickup is fixed at the 80 A rating; magnetic pickup is fixed and not field-adjustable — typical for distribution where you want simple, repeatable coordination.
IP40 enclosure protection (no washdown rating) and IK07 impact resistance.
Durability and ratings
Mechanical endurance is 50,000 cycles; electrical endurance at rated current (80 A, 440 V) is 30,000 cycles, rising to 50,000 at half-load. That's solid for a distribution breaker in a panel that sees regular switching — say a process line that cycles daily for years. Power dissipation is 8.77 W per pole, so 26.3 W total at full load.
